We will explore the city from the famous festival of the RUNNING OF THE BULLS. Its heritage and monuments, and various celebrations taking place throughout the year,makes this city to become a recipient of national and international tourism. Internationally renowned San Fermin festival and its running of the bulls, filling the streets of thousands of foreigners coming from all over the world. Festivities begin with the launch of chupinazo (shuttle) from the balcony of City Hall at noon on July 6 and end at midnight on the night of July 14 with the “Poor me”, a farewell song . His worldwide fame is a recent phenomenon, linked also to the publicity given by Ernest Hemingway.

The crossing is spectacular. A winding way that leaves from Otxagabia will take us to the top of Mount Larrau, where we will enter in France. We will drive down all the way, avoiding road-crossing sheep and cattle and we will head up again to the forest of Irati.
