Explore a classical Rioja boutique winery nestled in the renowned Train Station quarter of Haro. Immerse yourself in the production of a diverse range of high-quality wines, from terroir concept creations to classical Gran Reservas. Crafted from the finest estates, where grapevines absorb the essence of a unique land, this winery promises an authentic Rioja wine experience.
Embark on a journey through two distinct wineries, ranging from classical Rioja establishments to intimate family-owned boutiques. Indulge in exclusive tasting sessions at their wine bars, savoring the best wines each winery has to offer. With 3 to 4 wines served at each location, rest assured that each selection exceeds 90 Parker Points, ensuring a delightful tasting experience.
If any of the wineries, selected for this tour, can provide lunch on that day, you’ll enjoy a traditional Riojan-style Hot & Cold tapas-based meal (featuring cheese, charcuterie etc.) paired with local wines, served in the outdoor garden nestled among the vineyards — weather permitting. This is a unique opportunity to savor authentic Riojan cuisine in a charming, rustic setting surrounded by nature.
Should the winery not offer lunch, we will head to a nearby traditional restaurant, where you will indulge in a full three-course meal paired with local wines, ensuring an equally delightful and authentic culinary experience.
Depending on the location of the final winery visited during the tour, we will explore one of the many charming medieval villages that Rioja has to offer. To ensure a smooth and efficient route, minimizing driving time, the village chosen will be one that makes the most geographical sense — typically Laguardia, Briones, or Labastida. Capture external views and photo opportunities of iconic architecture wineries such as Marques del Riscal and Ysios.
